Blair and Samantha

So I had these new prop ideas that I wanted to try out and these two precious children volunteered to model for me. I could not have found better subjects!! Such happy babies!! I went to high school with their sweet mother and father, so I know where they get it! We did these pictures in my grandparents' huge backyard. My grandparents were amazing photographer assistants! I will definitely be using that backdrop again. We put Samantha in the crib and the "hot air balloon" while Blair played with my Papa at the creek. They had such a good time, and I'm not just talking about Mimi and Papa :) Thanks so much Katie, Samantha, Blair, Mimi and Papa! What a fun day and ADORABLE pictures.

I absolutely love Blair's little smirk in this one of her and Samantha!

I also love how Samantha makes this face with her lips poked out! Such animated little girls!

Emory proposes to Martha!!

Congratulations to the Future Mr. and Mrs. Hendrix! Emory and Martha are friends of mine who got engaged last week. I was so excited when Emory asked me to photograph the proposal and to go with him to the jewelry store. We got some awesome shots of Emory designing the ring with his jeweler (and friend) Mike at Ponthieux Jewelry Design Studio. You have to check that place out-very cool. The proposal was perfect! He had quite an amazing dinner set up for Martha at the Poinsett Club in Greenville. It was a beautiful night outside, where they ate dinner on the balcony. It couldn't have gone any better! The weekend wasn't over yet! In the third phase of this adorable process, we went to a Clemson/Wofford tailgate where they celebrated with all of their family and friends. Fun stuff! I am very happy for these two friends and wish them the best in their marriage! Here are some of the sweet pictures.

Kimberly and Gene-Engagement

Yay for Kimberly and Gene finally getting engaged! Not that it took Gene too long to propose in a bad way :) they've just been dating for 100 years so I'm so glad were finally having a wedding! I got to photograph them in Clemson (which was so cool as a Clemson fan to get to be on the field with no one there) and I also get to be a bridesmaid! Kimberly and I were great friends in college and Gene is just a fabulous guy all around. We had so much fun Sunday doing these pictures and I can't wait for June 9th to be a part of their big day! Congrats friends! Love yall!!

Walker Solesbee

Meet the newest Clemson fan, Walker Solesbee! This little boy is absolutely adorable! It took us a while to get him to sleep but once he was out, oh my goodness! He posed like a little model-even smiles in his sleep sometimes! He and his daddy love Clemson, and so does his dog Charlie! (who dad said was pledging this semester when he came down in his orange and navy tie, ready for his photo shoot!) Enjoy these pictures. So sweet :)

Evatt Rehearsal Dinner

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Clay Evatt!! What a fabulous weekend their wedding was. I have been friends with these beautiful people since college. I was lucky enough to get to shoot their engagement pictures and rehearsal dinner, but put the camera down to celebrate with friends at their wedding, as a guest! They had a great rehearsal dinner and we got some good pictures! Lots of love from their family and friends :) Sara and Clay will have a fabulous marriage and I wish them the best!

Carter Madrid

Meet Carter! This little future pilot was so sweet and so much fun to photograph. He wasn't too happy with us at first but then when we put him in that basket and gave him his airplane hat, he slept forever! His mom thinks he might like that basket better than his crib. I should have let them keep it! Carter was my oldest newborn to be photographed, being 3 weeks old at the time of the photographs, but he was born early so still so tiny! Here is a preview of his pictures!
