Katie and Shane

I had a fabulous session Sunday with a cute couple in Atlanta, Katie and Shane...and their precious puppy! We thought it was going to pour because it had rained in Atlanta all week, but LUCKILY not even a drop during the shoot. It was a very fun afternoon. I'd like to give a big thanks to my sister, Ashley, for being my intern for the day and bringing towels to put on the wet grass under the models and hold the dog when he wasn't the star of the show! Another fun Sunday in Augusta with some friends from college, Becca and Kyle. We got really scared that the weather wasn't going to be nice to us, and though it was a little cloudy, the rain held out! We had a good time and the pictures turned out great!

Scott Wedding

The world of wedding photography is so exciting! I got to shoot a wedding with a good friend and a great mentor, Jana Candler last Saturday. I tagged along to observe but she was nice enough to let me shoot a few pictures. I didn't really get any of anyone looking at me because I was just kind of lurking in the back so Jana could get all the good ones, but I did enjoy getting to play along!! Jana is very talented and such a fun wedding photographer. To all of my followers who are soon to be married: check her out! She is amazing!

Jennie and Nick

I took some pictures in North Augusta last week and got to meet someone with my same birthday! I hadn't ever met someone born on July 18th, but now I have! (that probably doesn't excite anyone but me and her) We had fun running around downtown Augusta, GA and playing on the playground at River Walk. We got quite a workout! Jennie wore heels and was probably wishing halfway through that she had brought running shoes! They brought some of their favorite books and we got some good shots of them enjoying their favorite hobby! Here are some of their pictures...

Coleman and CJ

I am so glad I finally got to meet (and photograph) Michelle and Will's adorable babies! Little Coleman has so much personality and energy. She is such a fun little girl and her baby brother is a very "go with the flow" kind of guy. He's just so laid back! I tried to take him with me when he almost fell asleep on my chest after the shoot. It was so sweet! I decided to let him stay with his family, but it was hard :( Here are a few shots from today!
